How to edit a release schedule applied to a transaction

Once you have reviewed a transaction, selected a release treatment and added it to the relevant schedule, it will no longer appear in your inbox - it will move to the History page (which can be found in the left hand menu).

If you want to edit a release schedule, you can either head to the History page, find the relevant transaction, open that up by clicking the reference:

and then edit the schedule using the drop down options and clicking the Update Schedule button.

Or, you can edit a release from directly within the Deferred Revenue or Prepayment Schedule, using the edit icon next to the transaction line you wish to amend:

Clicking this will open a modal where you make any required changes:

Once you click the Update Schedule button, the numbers in the schedule will immediately update and you will need to one-click update any posted journals which are affected. You will be able to tell which journals need updating as the month will change colour from green:

to gold:
