When you’re ready to calculate your recharges, simply head to the calculations page, select "+ New" and choose the relevant month or custom period and click ‘Create’.
The next page you see will display all of your transactions and the recharge rules that have been applied to each one. Run down this list, and make any tweaks as necessary. You can click the deep link to Xero for a closer look at any of the transactions if needed.
Once you are happy with how all of your transactions have been treated by the recharge rules, continue to ‘Postings’ to view each of the entity-to-entity recharges. Here you can view all of your recharges, decide on VAT treatments, and select how you wish to post the recharges to Xero - either as a journal or as invoice and bill, in draft form or fully posted, and where relevant, which currency you’d like to post in.
Then, in just one click, post your recharges back to Xero. It’s that easy!
Don’t forget to mark these recharges as Final to make sure that any subsequent change in your transaction data or recharge rules doesn’t affect the calculations.
