How to check why transactions aren't in my Recharge

A guide on how troubleshooting transactions that aren't in Recharges

Sometimes when you run a recharge, you may not see a specific recharge transaction you were expecting to see.

Why would a transaction not appear in recharger?

This can happen for a few reasons:

  • The rule wasn't set up correctly and so it didn't pick up the transaction to recharge as expected

  • Someone may have manually overridden the rule applied

  • Maybe the rule hasn't yet been created

How to find and fix a missing recharge transaction

If you are unable to see a recharge transaction you were expecting to see, you can easily find the original transaction to understand what happened and why it hasn't been recharged as expected, by doing the following:

  1. Open up the recharge you believe the recharge transaction should be in

  2. Use the filters on the details page to find the transaction:

  3. Check what rule has been applied (if any) and check if the rule has been overridden

  4. Fix whatever may be causing the transaction to not be recharged as expected (that may mean adding a new rule, amending an existing rule, or removing an adhoc rule that has been applied)
