To add commentary to a balance to explain any fluctuations, you simply click into the relevant commentary box, add your notes and click save:
This will then be logged and saved against that balance, including the author and time stamp
Edits can be made to the commentary by re-clicking into the box and saving any edits. The audit log will then update to show who made the last edit:
Alternatively, you can choose to use our AI to generate the commentary by clicking this button:
If you're happy with what the AI has written, on save, the audit log will include a sparkle so you know it was written by AI:
You can also edit the commentary written by the AI by clicking in to commentary box and editing as normal.
Note: Editing the AI commentary will update the audit log to show the commentary was written by the user who edited it.
